PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy governs your use of the iMali software application ("Application") for mobile devices that has been created by PAYTEK, Tecnologias e Serviços de Pagamentos, Lda. The application allows the management of a digital payment account.

Information provided by the user

The application obtains the information that the user provides when downloading and registering his account in the application. When registering in the application, the user usually provides
(a) your name, email address, a password, identification number, and other registration information;
(b) transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases;
(c) information you provide to us when you contact us for help;
(d) other information that you enter into our system when using the Application. For the purposes of registration and compliance with KYC and AML rules, you may be asked to collect images of personal documents and your own photo (selfie) that will be stored securely in the central system of the iMali application.

We may also use the information you have provided to us to contact you to provide you with important information, necessary notices, new service offerings and marketing promotions.

Information collected automatically

In addition to the above, the app may collect certain information automatically, including but not limited to the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device's IP address, the operating system used, internet browsers used and information about how you use it. the iMali app.

This application can collect accurate information about the location of your mobile device as long as allowed in the configuration of the same.

The iMali application uses access to the mobile device's camera for the purpose of reading QRCode type codes for payments. No image is stored on the device or transmitted to the iMali application's central system without prior authorization by the user.

The iMali application automatically reads account creation validation messages sent by SMS (OTP) and can access the phone's contact list to consult contacts who have an iMali account. This method facilitates the use of the application in sending and requesting money transactions.

Access to information by third parties

Only aggregated and anonymous data may be periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and our services. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways described in this privacy statement.

We may disclose information provided and automatically collected by you:

• As required by law, such as serving a subpoena or similar legal process;

• When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a request from government authorities or regulators;

• With our trusted service providers who work on our behalf and who have agreed to adhere to the rules set out in this privacy statement.

• If PAYTEK is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or use of this information as well like all the options you may have about this information.

The user can stop all information collection carried out by the application easily by uninstalling it. You can use standard uninstall processes, available as part of your mobile device or through the Google Play Store mobile app marketplace. You can also request the inactivation of the application and the iMali account via email info@imali.co.mz

Data retention policy, and management of your information

We will keep the data provided by the user while using the Application and for a reasonable time even after its deactivation. We will keep information collected automatically for a period of up to 5 years and thereafter we may store it in a historical file. If you want us to delete all data provided by the user or automatically collected by the application, please request by email. info@imali.co.mz and we will respond within a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the user-provided data may be required for the application to function properly.

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data or market products or services to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with information without their consent, they should contact us via email. info@imali.co.mzWe'll exclude these informations from our files in the mean time

Security

We are concerned with safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We have physical, electronic and procedural back-up processes to protect the information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to only authorized employees and contractors who need this information to operate, develop or improve our applications. However, it is important for you to be aware that while we strive to provide reasonable security for the information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all possible security breaches.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our privacy policy by posting the new privacy policy hereby and informing you via email or text message. We advise you to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as your continued use is deemed to be approval of all changes. You can also check the history of this privacy policy on the website imali.co.mz.

Authorization

By using the Application, you consent to the collection and processing of your information as set out in this Privacy Policy and subsequent future changes. "Processing" means using cookies on a computer/mobile device or using information in any way, including, but not limited to: collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all activities that will take place at the site of use of the application.
