iMali is a new digital account specially designed to carry out digital payment transactions. iMali allows you to make payments by reading a merchant's QRcode, send, receive or request money to your mobile phone contact list with an iMali account, buy Credelec, mobile top-up, pay for water and TV packages.

Yes, the iMali payment service is approved by the Bank of Mozambique and the company Paytek Tecnologias e Serviços de Pagamentos, Limitada is licensed as a financial institution, aggregator and payment service provider according to the special registration made on July 8, 2022 on pages 177 of the register book of credit institutions and financial companies in the private registry of the Bank of Mozambique.

Go to Google Play Store, search for iMali and download the app (image contains white background and capital letter M).

When entering the app for the first time, select CREATE ACCOUNT option and fill in the data, then enter the 6-digit code that will be sent by SMS to your mobile phone, and define your four (4) digits PIN and the account iMali is created.

When entering the app, on the screen that requests the login email and password, there is the RESET PASSWORD option in the lower right corner. Enter your email that you used to register the account and you will receive a link in your mailbox to reset your password.

iMali does not charge fees on any end-user transaction, it's free. You can pay in stores, buy mobile top-ups, Credelec, TV monthly payments, and send, receive and ask for money without paying any commission.

Enter iMali and select the MOVEMENTS tab and you will find all transactions made with your account separated by category.

You can top-up your iMali account on an ATM, internet Banking, or Mobile Account in the option PAYMENTS using the ENTITY and REFERENCE of your iMali account that you can find in the REFERENCE option on the APP main screen.

The top-up amount may take up to 20 minutes to be reflected in your iMali account after completing the operation PAGAMENTO DE SERVIÇOS.

The value depends on the customer's registration level (KYC). In the initial level 1, the maximum amount you can have as a balance in the iMali account is 3,000 Meticais and each operation has a limit value of 300 Meticais. Level 2 has a maximum balance of 75,000 Meticais and each transaction can have a maximum amount of 25,000 Meticais. You must therefore update your personal documents for your iMali account to be at level 2.

You must update your registration with an official photo document. Enter the ACCOUNT screen and choose the option to UPDATE DOCUMENTS. Choose one of the documents presented, take photos of the front and back of the document and take a selfie and finish the sending process. iMali team will review the documents and activate level 2 on your account.

iMali digital account's main objective is to help you to make all financial transactions digitally without using physical money. Soon, through SIMOrede's interoperability functionality, you will also be able to transfer value between your iMali account and electronic money wallets and bank account NIBs.

Enter iMali, select the PAY option, scan the merchant's QR code, enter the data and confirm the transaction with your PIN or fingerprint.

Enter iMali, in the MOVEMENTS tab, PAYMENTS option and you will find the last transaction carried out properly detailed.
